Howick Community Farmers raise their chickens without cages, antibiotics, or GMOs. The birds are raised during the summer months and are free to wander through fields, choosing their own diets of grass and grain.
*Please note that pasture-raised chickens are significantly larger than a conventional grocery store bird, weigh on average 2.4 kg, and can feed 6-8 people (approximately $6/portion).
We take great pride in making our sausages from the highest quality pastured animals, natural casings and simple ingredients. Our sausages do not contain gluten, fillers, soy products or any curing salts.
A collection of the basic provisions and condiments made in-house from our pastured animals. These products are sometimes the bedrock of a dish or the final compliment, and when made well can often really make a meal.
